Camera & data permissions

Due AI stores your food items (name, expiry date, category, notes) in your Supabase database. Images used for scanning are sent to the server to extract text/date information and are not intended to be kept as part of your food list.

Cloud Sync means your fridge, shopping list, and account profile are stored in the cloud (Supabase) and are available on other devices when you sign in with the same account. There is no separate "sync switch" in the app — saving or editing items writes directly to your cloud database.

You control your data. You can delete items at any time, and deleting your account removes your records associated with it.
